the below updated list of dermatologist recommended10 best dandruff shampoosin 2023 is applicable for both men and women. some of the recommended brands have many dedades of research behind their formulas.
make sure to also read my post onnatural dandruff treatments. several recent studies suggest thatthe condition of the scalpcan impact 2022世界杯决赛日期 . in particular, killing themalassezia(p. ovale) fungi and yeast is proven to benefit scalp 2022世界杯决赛日期 . most 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 sufferers tend to often get inflamed scalp conditions. on a related note, also make sure to read my post ondemodex mites and 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表.
my experience with head & shoulders
in 2022, i choseto try outhead & shoulders clinical strength dandruff defense shampoo for intensive itch relief. over the course of 20 years, i have used various head & shoulders shampoos for my frequent dandruff problems. i have also used manydermatologist recomended 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 shampoosto help soothe my inflamed scalp.
however, in recent years, i tended to almost always favor the very effectivenizoralshampoo to treat my scalp flakes. however, in 2022, nizoral started to lose its effectiveness for me. perhaps because the malassezia (pityrosporum) fungus started to develop tolerance to nizoral? moreover, the nizoral makes my scalp a bit too dry at times.
switching to the head & shoulders extra strength anti-dandruff shampoo has been a great success so far. my scalp flakes always go away for at least two or three days after each use. i also do not seem to get excessive scalp skin dryness after using this product. i hope this result continues in 2023 and beyond.
what shampoo gets rid of dandruff?
the best dandruff shampoo (with or without conditioners) will at least temporarily relieve your dry, itchy, flaky scalps. scaly scalp skin conditions and inflammation are especially common in balding regions of the head. for those suffering from recurring dandruff episodes, treatment choicescan be confusing.
a first solution defense is to look for an effective dandruff treatment shampoo for your hair care needs. most of the leading products (both non-prescription and prescription strength) work effectively in both men and women. some will work better than others for color treated hair, greasy oily hair, excessively dry hair, grey hair and curly hair. others will work better on oily scalps versus dry scalps.
the tingling scalp and embarrassing white flakes on dark clothing cause a lot of stress in people suffering from this problem. for some, the dandruff comes and goes in patches. for others, it represents a daily problem of high skin turnover that can be genetic in nature.
dry indoor winter heating and washing your hair too often can further exacerbate the flaking, itchiness and dead skin cells. note that dandruff is one particular manifestation of a condition called seborrheic dermatitis. people in hot weather countries such as india will need a different shampoo to those in rainy countries such as the uk.
over the years, i have had many episodes of severe dandruff and scalp itching and burning, especially during dry weather days. although these are not always frequent, i have tried and tested most top rated medicated anti-dandruff shampoos over the years. and i have also experiments with manynatural treatmentssuch as apple cider vinegar.
how to treat scalp flakes and dryness
a number of scientifically sound dandruff treatment approaches can be usedto target and controlscalp flaking.
most of the below selected best dandruff treatment medicated products have their own unique key ingredients. these have their own distinct mechanisms of action to give you a smooth flake-free scalp.
i try to alternate between several different antifungal and dandruff shampoos every month. my reasons for doing this are so as to:
- not get side effects from the overuse of any one product with its key anti-dandruff ingredient(s).
- avoid having my scalp becoming immune to the effects of certain ingredients due to overuse. this can lead to dandruff recurrence.
try to purchase products that do not include sulfates, parabens, silicones, phthalates, diethanolamine (dea) and artificial dyes. i try to also buy products that are never tested on animals.
in addition to dandruff(see reddit), many of the below shampoos also work to treat other skin conditions of scalp buildup and flaking such as eczema and psoriasis. usually, these products work by reducing the overproduction of skin cells when mild to moderate. note that several of the products contains sulfates and other potentially harmful ingredients that cause side effects in some people. for babies with cradle cap, it is recommended to use less harmful baby shampoos.
key ingredients in dandruff shampoos that reduce scalp flakes and itching include:
- salicylic acid.
- zinc pyrithione.
- coal tar.
- selenium sulfide.
product effectiveness can also vary depending upon: whether you have a dry scalp versus oily scalp (overproduction by the sebaceous glands); presence of malassezia yeasts on the scalp; whether you are male or female; and your own propensity for allergic immune reactions to certain ingredients.
for best results, make sure to lather and leave the shampoo on your scalp for at least a few minutes before rinsing. this is especially true for the bestsellingnizoral shampoo.
the 10 best dandruff shampoos in 2023
the below is an official list of the best dandruff shampoos in 2022 to tackle scalp itching and dry flakes. all of the below shampoos are recommended by dermatologists and medical doctors.
most are also among the top choices in rankings and ratings by webmd, consumer reports and amazon. make sure to lather, rinse and scrub thoroughly when using these products. note that some of these may not be available in countries such as the uk and india.
- nizoral shampoo
- neutrogena t/gel
- head & shoulders clinical strength
- jason natural
- head & shoulders classic
- selsun blue
- pura d’or
- dove dermacare
- nioxin scalp recovery
- paul mitchell tea tree
nizoral a-d anti-dandruff shampoo
one of my favorite dandruff shampoo products with ample scientific backing behind its efficacy. numerous positive amazon, walmart and reddit reviews. the key active ingredient in this over-the-counter shampoo isketoconazole 1%, which is an anti-fungal agent with anti-dandruff and anti-androgenic properties. the last of these aids scalp 2022世界杯决赛日期 according to a number of studies.
nizoral attacks themalasseziamicrobe, the main cause of dandruff in many instances. it also reduces hairfall in some cases due to anti-androgenic properties. nizoral comes in a fairly small bottle, but still lasts for many months with twice a week usage. i do not recommend more frequent usage or else you can exacerbate scalp dryness and end up with brittle hair quality and texture. you can also get nizoral 2% medicated shampoo with a prescription.
neutrogena t/gel therapeutic shampoo
the key active ingredient in this popular dermatologist recommended t/gel product is2% coal tarextract. accompanying instructions suggest just once a week usage to be ideal in combating dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis as well as psoriasis. the coal tar gives this product an unusual color and keratolytic properties that can smoothen and improve inflamed scalp skin.
some users do not like the smell of this medicated anti dandruff shampoo and also complain about dyed color treated hair fading. coal tar also helps slow down the shedding of dry skin cells and can reduce scalp acne. note thatneutrogena t/salis a different product made by the same company, but is also highly rated and containssalicylic acid 3%.
head & shoulders clinical strength dandruff & dermatitis shampoo
head & shoulders clinical strength
over the years, head & shoulders has probably produced more varieties of shampoos to target dandruff than any other company out there. their most popular product for preventing scalp flakes is this clinical strength shampoo. the key active ingredient in it isselenium sulfide 1%, which reduces scalp fungus and bacteria at the root.
this product offers lasting relief from scalp itching and flaking. you can also find a number of other highly rated and reviewed head & shoulders dandruff shampoos on amazon. after lathering, make sure to leave the product on your scalp for at least 5 minutes before rinsing and styling. head & shoulders also sells an anti-dandruff and anti hairfalltwo-in-oneshampoo. however, i am skeptical in general about shampoos that claim to reduce hair fall. l’oreal paris also makes a fall resist 3x anti-dandruff anti-hair fall shampoo.
jason natural dandruff relief shampoo
although not as well known as the above three listed products, jason natural is a unique ph balanced largely natural product. it containscolloidal sulfur 2%andsalicylic acid 2%as the two main active ingredients to tackle dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.
formulated with additional beneficial herbal and natural ingredients that improve scalp health, including: cooling aloe vera, apple cider vinegar, jojoba oil, methylsulfonylmethane (msm), olive oil, rosemary oil, seaweed extract, tea tree oil and vitamin e.
head & shoulders classic anti-dandruff
head & shoulders classic clean (walgreens link)
head & shoulders came out with a pyrithione zinc based shampoo all the way back in 1961. to this day, the company still makes anti-dandruff shampoos that are based on this original active ingredient, in azinc pyrithione 1%formulation. this key ingredient helps inhibit scalp yeast and fungus growth. this classic clean version is also paraben free.
a cleaner scalp helps provide relief from uncomfortable itching and flaking; reduces redness and scaly skin; and removes product buildup. all beneficial in those with thinning hair. you can pick up various head & shoulders shampoos at your local walgreens or cvs pharmacies.
selsun blue medicated (walmart link)
selsun blue moisturizing anti-dandruff shampoo with aloe is the company’s bestselling product to fight visible flakes and dry hair. it containsselenium sulfide 1%. the aloe will soothe and moisturize sensitive scalps.
also popular are selsun blue medicated dandruff shampoo and conditioner 2-in-1; and selsun blue active 3-in-1 dandruff shampoo, which containssalicylic acid 2%to help fight acne and buildup.
pura d’or md anti-hair thinning shampoo
pura d’or has taken the 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 world by storm over the past decade. the company’s shampoo products contain a wide range of beneficial ingredients. moreover, pura d’or is especially renowned when it comes to its product packaging and marketing. the pura d’or maximum defense (md) anti-hair thinning shampoo contains both0.9% ketoconazoleand0.5% coal tarextract.
both are known to fight dandruff. however, do note that some of the reviews suggest missing ketoconazole in newer formulations. make sure to verify the exact ingredients before purchasing. this shampoo also contains a proprietary herbal blend of 19 key ingredients that nourish the scalp. this includes saw palmetto, nettle extract, he shou wu (fo-ti), red korean seaweed, hibiscus, clary sage, black cumin seed, tea tree, pygeum bark and rosemary.
dove dermacare anti-dandruff shampoo
dove dermacare scalp dryness & itch relief
dove is a globally renowned cosmetics brand name. the dove dermacare dandruff shampoo is formulated with active pyrithione zinc to resolve dryness and itching in dandruff-prone scalps. its mild ph balanced formula helps avoid moisture depletion, and leaves hair flake free, smooth, and less frizzy.
nioxin scalp recovery
nioxin scalp recovery anti-dandruff
nioxin is a respected brand, but not known for its dandruff shampoos. however, their scalp recovery line of products is a popular product to treat itch and flaky scalps. it contains zinc pyrithione, green tea extract, scalp soothing peppermint oil and biotin. the product claims to prevent recurrence of flaking and itching associated with seborrheic dermatitis.
paul mitchell tea tree special
tea tree special
a number of readers have mentioned the highly rated paul mitchell tea tree special shampoo. i have heard about this product a lot over the years, and might even have tried it some years ago. you can often purchase it at local hairdressers and beauty salons for a discount.
besides tea tree oil, the product also contains peppermint and lavender according to the manufacturer’s website. note that head & shoulders also sells a populartea tree oil containinganti-dandruff shampoo that is currently on sale at walmart.

other popular anti-dandruff shampoo choices
- also popular option is the color-safe shea moistureafrican black soapbamboo charcoal deep cleansing shampoo. this is a popular dandruff shampoo for african american hair. it does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate (sls), which can harm colored hair. key ingredients include african black soap, bamboo charcoal, tea tree oil and willow bark extract. soothes itching while revitalizing dry hair and skin. this product was never tested on animals. on a related note, briogea sellsa charcoal and coconut based shampoo and scalp scrub product.
- some people have mentioned thatciclopirox olaminebased shampoos may be effective for moderate levels of dandruff. however, i have as yet not found any popular over-the-counter dandruff shampoo that is based on ciclopirox olamine. also effective ispiroctone olamine.
- also popular are argan oil and apple cider vinegar based anti-dandruff shampoos. head & shoulders sells a highly ratedapple cider vinegarcontaining 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner product.
dandruff shampoo soap bar
a very interesting product that is worth mentioning here is ethique’s highly rated and popular dandruff shampoo soap bar. thisethique heali kiwi shampoo baris eco-friendly and helps tackle dandruff and itchy scalps. the bar (various colors for different hair types) contains cocoa butter, coconut oil, neem oil, karanja oil and oatmeal. each solid bar is equivalent to 3 bottles of liquid shampoo.
ethique is renowned in new zealand for its eco-friendly environmental footprint. plastic waste is a huge global problem, especially in the oceans. according to ethique, 80 billion plastic bottles of shampoos and conditioners are disposed of around the world each year. this product is much needed and highly recommended.

please post unrelated comments in the prior post. i will discuss brotzu in the next post in a week.
admin. you should mention the sebiprox shampoo with ciclopiroxe olamine 1,5g which is as much effective than nizoral !
dr. bronner’s peppermint. is advertised as a soap/body wash, but since using it on my hair 3x a week, i have no itch. hair looks great, shedding seems to be down. there’s no foaming agents, detergents, sls etc… which is why i wanted to try it.
the only complaint i have with nizoral dandruff shampoo is the sulfates in it. it really strips keratin out of my hair. i wish there was a medicated shampoo for men with 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 that had ketoconazole but was sulfate free and sodium chloride free.
besides that it is very effective. same with selenium sulfide in head and shoulders. the milder zinc version never worked for me.
i am skeptical of colloidal silver shampoos. i wonder if the colloids stay suspended/independent in solution and how long it requires for them to destroy or penetrate fungal walls during the shampooing process.
yeah had it my whole life, and the itch is always where hair is miniaturizing. nothing really fixes it. i like alopecin shampoo, and then just a mix of shampoos like you have, but nothing fixes it. i think its connected to mpb, but other people with worse mpb then me dont have it at all so it might be separate from mpb.
it is just because your dandruff is worse in the thin areas because there isn’t as much hair to absorb the skin’s sebum production.
im a huge fan of paul mitchell tea tree shampoo and condtioner! i have found it eliminates all dandruff and helps a lot with scalp irritation!
i liked paul mitchell tea tree shampoo and the lemon sage but it ended making my hair super flat after use. nizoral 2% is my favorite 3x a week.
pura d’or hands down! i’ve tried everything above. some made dandruff worse while some offered little or no change. this has no sls and doesn’t dry out your scalp but still kills the itch
dr john mcdougall’s starch solution completely eradicated my dandruff after a week. i scratched like mad but absolutely no snowflakes emerged on my shirt. there is some evidence it will help with 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 too but i just haven’t been able to stay on the diet for too long. it’s a vegan diet with no oil or processed foods. it consists of 90% starch and 10& other fruits and vegetables.
has anybody tried shapiro md shampoo? i know it has caffeine which is supposed to help with 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 .
why would you waste time on an otc shampoo when your dermatologist can prescribe a prescription strength? loprox and 2% nizoral are my favorites.
they have answered why/how to grow hair form wounding with a more exact answer. specifically triggering γδt-cells via il-1 (immflamuation response related)
this is probably the biggest discovery in last 10 years. it backs up follica (and hopefully other solutions based on wounding without wounding).
stimulation of hair follicle stem cell proliferation through an il-1 dependent activation of γδt-cells.
the cutaneous wound-healing program is a product of a complex interplay among diverse cell types within the skin. one fundamental process that is mediated by these reciprocal interactions is the mobilization of local stem cell pools to promote tissue regeneration and repair. using the ablation of epidermal caspase-8 as a model of wound healing in mus musculus, we analyzed the signaling components responsible for epithelial stem cell proliferation. we found that il-1α and il-7 secreted from keratinocytes work in tandem to expand the activated population of resident epidermal γδt-cells. a downstream effect of activated γδt-cells is the preferential proliferation of hair follicle stem cells. by contrast, il-1α-dependent stimulation of dermal fibroblasts optimally stimulates epidermal stem cell proliferation. these findings provide new mechanistic insights into the regulation and function of epidermal cell-immune cell interactions and into how components that are classically associated with inflammation can differentially influence distinct stem cell niches within a tissue.
which company is this?
i like jason brand a lot. it’s not cheap but i feel better about putting that on my scalp than the others. my dandruff is very mild so i only need it like once a week or so.
i would be a nw6 if it was not for 2 hair transplants. just for the record, i am 36 and have never had dandruff, itchy or flaky scalp, etc and up until aged 24 i had hair like barbie. i just feel like this shampoo topic is connecting the wrong dots.
yeah man, same. i never had a problem with dandruff, itchy scalp, anything like that. but still losing hair. i’m a diffuse thinner on the top.
been a long time browser, first time poster. i’ve suffered from dandruff since puberty and 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 (aga) began in my early twenties. nizoral 1% helped for a while with my dandruff but would dry out my scalp in the winter, which exacerbated the scaling of seborrheic dermatitis. the one thing i️ found that removes the seborrheic scales effectively now is raw organic honey. was perusing pubmed for some natural options after most otc shampoos that claimed efficacy would either leave my scalp red, dry, and/or irritated after continued use (not to mention ineffective except for nizoral). however, raw honey somehow removes these thick yellow seb derm scales and leaves my scalp feeling moisturized. scales are removed like it’s nobody’s business after massaging into the scalp and letting sit for 3 hours (every other day for a month, then once a week to curb a recurrence) anyone else have results from honey/a long battle with scalp scaling? definitely worth a try. link to study:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/11485891/
keep our bald heads high brothers/sisters
just raw honey? was it not difficult to navigate the heavy, thick texture through the scalp? thanks
is nizoral safe for long term use though? i’d read about yeast resistance building up over time. i was using it but stopped due to this reason. i just use head and shoulders now./
anybody else out there not have dandruff there whole life until 2-3 months after there 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 started? does this validate jaks for us aga sufferers even more or no
i had disgusting flakes starts once hairless started…
it proves that 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 and (chronic) inflammation are interlinked. scalp seborrheic dermatitis and/or dandruff are signs of chronic inflammation, which eventually may accelerate aga / mpb.
revita helps me to keep things calm.
however lately (despite the use of revita, rogaine and microneedling) my crown is itching like i experienced years ago. unfortunately 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 is restarting / progressing.
what do you think of prioctone olamine shampoos? i’ ve read that results were superior than ketoconazole.
i have heard of piroctone olamine. however, on amazon, i never found any popular shampoo with that ingredient to be able to check reviews or even purchase the product for myself with any kind of confidence.
seba med anti dandruff, vichy dercos anti dandruff and body shop ginger shampoo has piroctone olamine. i tried vichy dercos, which has a pretty good ingredient list, but didn’t have any benefit. i’m not a good responder for ketoconazole also so i can’t say which is better but all the reviews i’ve read was piroctone olamine is better than ketoconazole.
these shampoos work best if you are not deficient in zinc andvitamin d. i noticed my scalp and hair progress worse when i’m low. i did some blood work and my vitamin d levels are deficient. i’m at 30ng right at the border line. range is 30 to 100ng. i noticed my scalp itch, scaling and increased shedding on one side of scalp. i’m going to take 5000iu a day to get back to normal levels for regrowth which is 60ng. anybody here ever check their vit d levels..whenever my levels are normal nizoral works like a charm. could he coincidence however…
when my hairloss was the worst and the period i lost a lot of it (early last year/beginning of this year when i was 17) i started to have a very itchy scalp for the first time in my life, also a flaky scalp (it looked like it was snowing on my scalp and it was also very red). around summertime my hair was the worst it’s ever been, so i jumped on minoxidil 2% in july and switched to 5% in october. i haven’t had a flaky scalp since and my scalp only itches on the back of my head (not in aga region but donor region) because of the weather drying out my scalp. minox also started to have clear effects this month with my very thin temple areas filling in slightly and the forelock is looking better too. not sure at all if using minox helps against the flaky scalp (never heard that it did) but this is my story. i will continue to use minox and if nothing is out somewhere next year i might add fin too even though i really don’t want to.
a lotion full of hair follicle stem cells that you rub on and hair grows???
bottom-up nanoencapsulation from single cells to tunable and scalable cellular spheroids for hair follicle regeneration.
cell surface engineering technology advances cell therapeutics and tissue engineering by accurate micro/nanoscale control in cell-biomaterial ensembles and cell spheroids formation. by tailoring cell surface, microgels can encapsulate cells for versatile uses. however, microgels are coated in a thick layer to house multiple cells together but not a single cell based. besides, excessive deposition on cell surface is detrimental to cellular functions. herein, layer-by-layer (lbl) self-assembly to encapsulate single cell using nanogel is reported, owing to its security and tunable thickness at nanoscale, and further forms cell spheroids by physical cross-linking on nanogel-coated cells for delivery. a hair follicle (hf) regeneration model where the dermal papilla cells (dpcs) are given a 3d installation to maintain its ability of hf induction during in vitro culture is studied. dermal papilla (dp) spheroids are optimized and that lbl-dpcs aggregation is akin to primary dp is demonstrated. the markers alp, versican, and ncam are examined to investigate that high-passaged (p8) dp spheroids can restore the hair induction potential, which are lost in 2d culture. new hfs are regenerated successfully by implantation of dp spheroids in vivo.
@omg:when this will be available?
oh i would say in the next week or two.
people who ask “when will it be available” questions are so dumb. if anyone know when something was going to be available, you would know too.
wondering: anyone ever heard of or tried ciclopirox shampoo?? it is supposed to do the same thing as nizorol. but maybe it can work if the scalp is immune to nizorol?
bring on the brotzu thread!
just curious why you started this post off with a disclaimer about brotzu?
never mind admin,
i took ur investigative clue and looked at last post!! got it!! exciting!! here we go again lolol!! looking forward to ur next post here comes the brotzu everything train again lol!!!!!
:-) many ppl asking about it despite no official announcements. most ppl here don’t care for dandruff shampoo posts.
can’t blame us :)
i care. these are the options we have today. a bird on hand is worth more than 2 in the bush. ive been looking into piroctone olamine.
i care about dandruff shampoo admin. i’ve been battling dermatitis for many years. i’m going to try those other shampoos in conjuction with niz. as for brotzu, i’m amazed at how gullible people are about this unproven lotion for 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 . you will know it works when you hear about it on the evening news. or real pics of the lotion working. we should all no better than to hype up this sruff. it’s kelopesia all over again. i hope i’m wrong but i’m probably not. been in the game long enough to know whats good or not.
recovering 5 years of 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 ? recovering 2-3 norwoods? of course many people are hyped and can’t wait for the release date. everything points to the march release. the question is not, if it comes out, the question is how effective is it? the claims are too good to be true.
in the 1980s they said 2 years for a vaccine to aids. it took 5 years, it didn’t work anyway and all these original hopeful patients are now dead and we still don’t have a vaccine despite since discovering dna, stem cells, 3d printing, robotic surgery, mri, etc.
don’t get me wrong, i have a vested interest and the science behind replicel/shiseido and tsuji seemingly checks out, but we must also prepare for the possibility that a cure may not happen in our lifetimes.
before you firmly believed november/2017 was “the” date. then december…. good bump to march..
march release date of what?
14 months to tsuji / riken human trials!!!!
the real cure is coming ;)
and within that time the results from the other players will be in. so we will either have a cure or less players to read up on when they go bust. good times ahead.
where is it stated that it’s another 14 months till tsuji human trials?
i don’t think how much it’s related to this topic but i need to mention that my scalp itching has stopped completely after i’ve started nofap about half a year ago. i’ve also experienced some visible regrowth which is pretty amazing because i’ve suffered from mpb for almost ten years.
i’m 27 years old and i started nofap for completely different reasons than 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 . it was a real surprise when i noticed some regrowth. i’m not trying to say that you should stop masturbating/having sex but at least i have experienced some huge changes in my hair because i’ve reduced the numbers of my orgasms.
testosterone turns into 2022足球世界杯赛程时间 when you masturbate —> if you have the 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 gene and you masturbate a lot it will boost your balding process. i don’t claim that i’ve found the miracle cure for baldness but i believe many people suffering from mpb have to deal with a lot earlier in their lives because they masturbate too frequently.
i can only add that when getting a testosterone test done…they don’t want you to masturbate 24 hours prior. i don’t have studies as to why. although i asked an m.d if masturbate led some to 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 …..his answer was no.
guy90: sorry for the personal question but how many releases do you now have per month? what’s the majic # because i think a massive buildup is probably not good either. thank you
anyone try ru? ok i am sorry if i awakened a dead old horse. however i just see old posts from 2012 on ru. i was not a 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 sufferer then. some dude has pics claiming it works…tbh his hair looked like crap….when claims he stopped for a month and proof his results. then back on it and hair slowly back. so any info?
second @admin i found an inflammation article i will post this weekend….might be worth a read.
thirdly….i know everyone is on brotzu….but once i pay this semester off of med school….i might be dealing with a clinic…we exchanged ideas. topical finasteride…what are your thoughts on this guys? also some latanoprost….i talked to the clinic and can meet dr…we shared ideas. also could be spiking my growth hormone and testosterone levels up a bit. i am a nw 2.5…no further signs of 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 the last 18 months. haven’t gained either. just wanted your thoughts as this is a guinea pig move with some science behind it…but it’s kind of new. getting hormones up, not super high or super physiological. just really good. then smacking the hair right in the face with topical fin and maybe latanoprost. not a cheap route. however we bounced ideas around and i can get it.all from a legit pharmacy….no online stuff. hence not cheap. so i either will look like the rock lol and get more buff…or grow hair and hope to look like thor. i am rooting for thor. i can’t wear hats to lab dissection or clinical coming up next year. so like i get brotzu…but what about ru…topical fin and latanoprost thoughts? far as shampoo….i use the 2% niz doesn’t make a difference for 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 or growth. regen dr makes me feel fresh but can’t say it helps. although i don’t have much dandruff.
what would you guys do when you had 10.000 donor grafts available to transplant according to a top 5 ht surgeon? should i plan a fue for 2018, grow it out for a year (2019) and then wait for the releases of follica / replicel etcetera? and wait for our japanese friend after 2020… the surgeon said i now only would need approx. 15% of the total available grafts. so that means i still would have 8500 left for future surgeries, if needed. yes, i am not on fin, so i need something like replicel / follica in 2019 latest.
btw, mid 30ties, already saved the money in case i would have to repeat procedures in upcoming decade (until the 10.000 grafts limit). if i would not need the money in future for hair, i will pay off my mortgage with it later. the latter being a better investment than hair, imo.
only need 1500? unless your hair is amost perfectly covered your surgeon is already planning to do 2 surgeries on you for more money instead of one
also if youre not on fon shock loss will probably be quile large
has anyone with the itch and seb derm/dandruff tried propecia, and had it significantly help or stop the itch/dandruff? i have been thinking about trying fin just to see if it helps the itch. i guess i have 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 with it so maybe i need it anyway
it should help slightly in theory but prob not altoghether cure it
has anyone tried nioxin shampoo and does it work? i have read the ingredient list and in seems to contain many ingredients that reduce sebum and dry skin.
i know people will laugh.
but honestly i ve been doing garluc and onion masks and all the itching is gone my hair is getting thicker and my temples and hair line are filling up with hair (terminal hair not vellus hair) also i feel my head shape is diffirent like its more uniform now (there was kinda poffy area etc) if thats make any sense.
i use follics fr s1 shampoo.
it’s more like a creamy texture than some slurpy thick gooey liquid like many other shampoos.
also i wanted to start “microneedling”/dermarolling/wounding. does anyone have any recommendations on a good product to purchase? thanks!
i find most dandruff shampoos really harsh/drying…but i can vouch for that jason’s natural brand not being too bad!
regenepure dr has 1% ketoconazole and no sulfates, i have been using it for awhile.
is nizoral gel or cream or lotion useful for dandruff and 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 better than shampoo or vice versa?
terry- can describe the onion garlic mask you use. how often? how you make it? how long do you keep it on?
phil collins, get a dermapen from amazon far better than a roller. used both and dermapen wins hands down. more expensive but you will be better off
could jak inhibitor stuff add into the shampoo or moisturizing lotion?
where you getting this 14 weeks at?
new look for replicel website:http://replicel.com/pipeline/index.htm
there’s also a new faq for rch-01 which is four questions answered with four variations of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
still tho… gives me hope.
@terry. can you please describe your garlic onion hair mask. i’m very curious and would like to try it. how you make it, how many times you apply a week and how long you leave it on your scalp. thanks man
hey phil collins,
where do you get follics products from? iv been trying to find a place to order to canada but am unable to.
admin i’m not sure why but none of my comments ever get approved. if you see this can you please let me know whether i’m marked as spam or something? thanks.
frank, i do not see a single one of your comments in the spam folder. no idea.
well, what a coincidence. i come on here today, and find a previous post of mine. but why did i come on here at this very moment? well, really there’s only one reason..i’m losing my hair! okay, i’m being a little drastic.
i’m still using an antidandruff shampoo that’s medicated with finasteride, azelaic acid, and minoxidil, as well as a topical product containing finasteride combined with minoxidil. and i recently started (started this past friday) using topical bimatoprost. i think i’m having shock hairless due to the summer heat.
i’ve been off oral finasteride since october of 2017, and i’ve finally started seeing the repercussions (卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 ) of discontinuing it. now i’m contemplating going back on oral finasteride.
phil, are you using follics products? where are you located?
hi yoda. yes, i am using follics products. i live in the carolinas.
welcome back phil!
is hairlosstalk working?
has somebody tried this? jak plus bimatoprost as topical available now ….
what are the possible side effects? pics look impressive.
price is very reasonable $ 499

the opinions of the doctors in this product and opinions of the forum members must be taken
mjones i tried garlic thing for 2 months head stopped itching but i failed to keep up
my girl friend said i made our pillows smell like a taco. lmao.
your probably better off doing the greek bro forum guy you found with naturals. how’s he doing anyway.
i’ve been on topical fin through empower because i couldn’t sit by for polichem anymore i’m one year from total n7 now had an afro when i start lurking here in 2013 lol.
nice find! biox is jak + bit. nasa your thoughts?
i don’t understand how aclaris or polichem and biox and empower androblock coexist like they do in this situation. do we really need to wait for phases?
and you can buy 3 for $332.00 each…
thanks egg head. yeah i’m just going to buy a dermastamp and use that once a week. topical fin,min i’m using is ok. it worked well first 3 months but then growth phase wore down and i’m back to trying to maintain. the problem is i’m using prop, topical fin/min, and vitmains. nw3 but these treatments lose effects over time. been fighting for 16 years. it’s only so much these archaic drugs can do for so long. i’m praying for new drugs in 2019. sm would be great or follica. something to fill in my diffuse pattern and stop loss for another 10 years.
how did you make the garlic onion topical? how often did you use it?
used a blender acvinegar garlic onion cayenne extract blend or a juicer is way easier then apply. i haven’t seen any dramatic pics have u?
follione is giving me decent results… contains pure plant extracts, caffeine, and piroctone olamine. no harsh chemicals… alot less shedding…
oh nizoral 2% is my favorite shampoo. controls my itching and scalp inflammation.
https://elitehairinstitute.com/biohair-x-tofacitinib-and-bimotoprost-hair-growth-treatment.html… can we talk more about this? what the hell is this? 500usd for how much time worth of treatment … and previous comment from bekoo he says this is reasonable?
biohairx sounds like a scam. if not, i wouldn’t use jak without it being fda approved for 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 . in the website it sats rx needed by doctor yet you can just buy it with a credit card online lol. not sure that is legit. which doctor formulated this?
agreed. interesting topic but then again, real news / successful products would be covered by now, no? but i’d love to hear if anyone has used this.
guys, samumed has started phase 2 for their product sm04554 in turkey. check it out.
thanks egghead. how often did you apply it to your scalp? how long each time? i’m assuming before showering.
i always thought head and shoulders was the pariah of the anti-dandruff world?
while my male pattern baldness started at age 17 (now 56) the dreaded itch and huge flaking didn’t start until about 5 years ago. my derm recommended a zinc shampoo, a tar shampoo and i was already using 2% nizoral. i’d say it was a 60% reduction in itching but only a 10% reduction in flaking. i read a post by “dr. house” on the hlt forum on the ordinary muti-peptide hair serum. i’ve been using for about 3 months, itching is down to 80% better but more importantly flaking is also reduced now by around 80%. i don’t buy into it’s hairloss/growth properties but it may be great for a healthy scalp environment and a cosmetic effect. oh yea, it’s prettu cheap too.
do not have new updates
we hope effective cure for baldness as soon as possible
i have stuck with nizoral over the years twice per week and baby shampoo between times. i have zero dandruff and i believe it has slowed mpb progression.
i took some lsd to make my hair grow back based on the advice of someone i never met.
i can’t even tell if it works because there is a dragon guarding the mirror.
have any of you tried regenepure?
i have doubts on up coming treatments histogen is backed by allergen now they collaborated with stemson if histogen made any progress they would not do that, medipost— they done trials on 30 subjects just like brotzu
we have to stick with the drugs we have for many years to come…:( i just hope not to lose any more ground…i just integrated toppik to my daily routine, it works fine but it really sucks to think that i have to put this stuff on my head…
one thought i had was to try winlevi as a maintenance option in the short term, at least at the hairline, once it comes out hopefully mid 2020. it’s only 1%, but if you look at the 12 month breezula study, even the 2.5% was a plus 10.2 at 12 months. so you would think 1% could at least maintain or you could apply heavily, depending on price. for those of us out of maintenance options it would seem to be at least a reasonable possibility as we wait for follica.
and where does one buy winlevi?
off-topic … again nice to see that 3 big names research approved drugs for 卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 :
yonsei university, incheon 21983, 2stemore co. ltd, dong-a … all south korea
udenafil induces the 2022世界杯决赛日期 effect of adipose-derived stem cells
not hairloss, but these types of advancements always make me optimistic about the general trends and sophistication of medical innovation.
@johndoe: good find.
gentlemen with ed, go ahead and throw some of the erection medicine on top of that dome of yours, apparently it will make your hair grow!
i alternate between nizoral, head & shoulders and selsun blue. sometimes neutrogena t/gel, but the coal tar makes my hair dry.
卡塔尔世界杯赛程表 started at 17, now 59, no dandruff/ seborrheic dermatitis until about 5 years ago. big flakes of skin, small, powdery flakes and itchy scalp. tried quite a few shampoos, current mix has worked the best, much less itching and small flakes, no more big flakes of skin. presently hairsanity shampoo (with hydrocortisone acetate) and conditioner (with salicylic acid) also ducray kelual ds shampoo twice a week. hope this helps anyone who needs/tries it.
hey yoda. hope all is well brother. i used to have really bad dandruff. nizoral helped me a lot but the best thing was massaging my scalp every morning for 3 mins.. making two fists one on each side of my head and pushing upwards so the top of my scalp with fold if that makes sense. pushing the top of my scalp toward the middle. this completely stop my scalp tingling and crawling and reduced my dandruff to almost zero. i never massage with my fingertips on my scalp i do the fist thing back and forth scrunching top of my scalp. works great for me. plus i drink a ton of water too and eat healthy for the most part.
thanks mjones! reminds me that i have still not done much with the dvd that i purchased from tom haggerty years ago.
none of the shampoos listed above any near the herbalglow segals advanced dandruff shampoo. it contains all of what is contained in all the above shampoos and much more. i got relief for my flaky dandruff and psoriasis problem with this shampoo. it’s gentle and free from sls
yw admin. yeah those 3 min scalp scrunches i do really help. i had that annoying scalp crawling tingly that annoyed me daily. started the massages before i shower in the morning and it stopped it and dandruff.
i’ve had dandruff on my scalp and body most of my life, and while i’m sure shampoos help, they feel like a bandaid for whatever is going on inside. i’ve heard that excessive dandruff could be auto-immune related, but i don’t have eczema or psoriasis, i’m just dry in general: skin/hair (i’ve never had much problem with acne though, so that’s a plus). i’ve been told it’s genetic but surely there are compounds my body doesn’t produce enough of (skin oil?) for which i could be making sure i get in my diet/supplements? omega-3’s don’t seem to help surprisingly.
stemson has signed a collaboration with venus concept.
looks really promising this time doesn’t it? these guys have partnered up with dark horse consulting and venus concept. they are backed by abbvie and allergan and other good backers and have really nice scientitfc advisors and collaborators. obviously, it will take them quite a while still, but i personally think these guys have a shot in curing baldness in our lifetimes?
anti dandruff shampoo is proven to calm itchy scalp and strengthen hair. it naturally conditions and nourishes hair strands with its rich nutrients and prevents hair from drying.
